Four Pillars of Life (Part 1): The Power of Pure Love

Love is the first and strongest pillar of human life. It shapes us into compassionate beings capable of sharing genuine feelings without expecting anything in return. This pure love transcends boundaries—it doesn’t discriminate between humans, animals, or even insects. It’s unbiased and heartfelt, making us truly human.
1. LOVE –
What True Love Means
Love should never be confused with selfish or conditional affection. Too often, people mistake controlling or biased behavior for love. For example:
- Parents who discipline harshly “because they love their kids”
- A spouse demanding affection or control and calling it love
- Emotional blackmail disguised as love within families
True love is pure and selfless—it seeks only the happiness, prosperity, and success of those we care about, without any hidden agendas or demands.

For example-
- a. Parents who physically punish their children may justify it by saying, “We love our kids and want them to have a better future, so we have the right to discipline them harshly.”
- b. A husband forcing intimacy on his wife might claim, “If you love me, you should have sex with me now,” confusing control with affection.
- c. One partner may pressure the other to cross moral or personal boundaries to “prove” their love, pushing them into uncomfortable or wrong actions.
- d. Parents who rigidly control every aspect of their children’s lives, treating them like soldiers following orders, often defend their actions by saying, “We do this because we love them.”

How Love Begins and Flows in Our Bodies
Scientifically, love originates from complex signals in our brain and body:
- Sensory neurons in the heart and brain start the process.
- Signals travel via the spinal cord to the pineal gland, the subconscious powerhouse.
- The pineal gland sends messages to the cerebral cortex, the center for thought and emotion.
- The cerebral cortex activates the frontal lobes, responsible for action and social behavior.
- Finally, signals reach the nervous system, spreading throughout the body.
This beautiful flow from subconscious feelings to conscious action creates the essence of love.
Note: The science have also proved that the heart also have 40,000. sensory neurons cell of its own. Source: Alshami A. M. (2019). Pain: Is It All in the Brain or the Heart?. Current pain and headache reports, 23(12), 88. https://doi.org/10.1007/s11916-019-0827-4
Why Pure Love Starts from the Subconscious Mind?
Pure love arises subconsciously—free from bias or external influence. This subconscious love ensures honesty and sincerity, allowing us to care deeply without expectation.
Definition: The subconscious refers to all the automatic reactions and actions we perform without actively thinking about them—but can become aware of if we focus our attention. For example, when driving a car, once skilled, we no longer consciously think about which gear to shift, which pedal to press, or which mirror to check, yet we can recall these actions if we consciously reflect on them. - a. The LOVE signal generated by the subconscious mind is the purest form because it is free from biases, external influences, and reflects the true core of your inner personality.
- b. The pineal gland acts as the brain’s power manager and generator of signals, waves, or vibrations—essentially serving as the subconscious energy supply center.
- c. The cerebral cortex functions as the logical hub for consciousness, thought, emotion, reasoning, language, and memory.
- d. The frontal lobes are responsible for initiating actions and managing higher cognitive functions such as memory, emotion regulation, impulse control, problem solving, social interaction, and motor functions.
The Impact of Love on Us and Others
True love brings happiness and success both to the giver and receiver. It fosters progress, well-being, and strong connections.
The Importance of Expressing Love Openly
Different cultures have varying attitudes toward expressing love. While some encourage open affection, others see it as taboo. Expressing love strengthens bonds and promotes healthy relationships. Here are some ways to express love in daily life:
Never hesitate to show your love—it nurtures deep connections and spreads happiness.

For Example-
- a. Giving children a goodnight kiss and telling them you love them
- b. Sharing words of trust and appreciation with your partner or friends
- c. Showing affection openly in front of family
- d. Thanking friends for their support

Caring for nature and all the living organisms within it demonstrates your respect for Mother Earth and your belief that every species—whether plant, animal, or insect—has an equal right to thrive.
